Prabowo's Electability Excels Far from Incumbents in Sumatra

Kabar Hub. The 2019 election is getting closer, the five-yearly democratic party is ready to be held on April 17, 2019, nearing the voting day, many survey institutions are increasingly incentive to conduct surveys on the electability of the two candidates who participated in the April elections.

The Alvara survey institute revealed that the electability of the two candidates for president and vice president did not change much even though the voting day was getting closer.

The electability level of both incumbents and Prabowo-Sandi, according to Alvara's survey, only increased slightly. It was also contributed by prospective voters who had not previously made the choice, aka undecided voters.

For the Chief Executive Officer or CEO of the Alvara Research Center, Hasanuddin Ali, the high undecided of error in this survey. Prabowo-Sandi received 49.8 percent of the vote while Petahana was 27.5 percent. While the prospective voters who have not yet decided are 12.6 percent.

Ali said, there was still time for the two candidate pairs to increase their electability. Among them is by utilizing the presidential and vice presidential debates that will be held soon, because from there the two candidate pairs can strengthen the support of the debate.

The prospective voters who until now have not made that choice, Ali said, amsih continues to weigh between Prabowo-Sandi or Petahana food. They look forward to the moment of presidential debate before they make their choice because he said, these "undecided voters" are fairly rational people.

The Alvara survey was held on 11-24 December 2018 with 1,200 respondents in 34 provinces throughout Indonesia. With a Margin of error, the error rate is 2.88 percent.
